Kicking Software was formed in May 2005 with the intent of bringing games and applications to mobile devices that were previously unavailable or unfulfilling.

We began to tackle this goal with our first release, Smartphone SuDoKu, which was the first sudoku game developed for the Microsoft Windows Mobile Smartphone platform. Since its release in early June 2005, many other developers have jumped on the bandwagon with their own renditions of the popular number placement game.
